Sailing Yacht SEA BUNNY

Phnom Penh

Our Cambodia tour started with a three days in Phnom Penh, visiting the Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the Toul Sleng museum (notorious school turned into a prison in the Pol Pot period), the National Museum and the memorial stupa at the Choeng Ek execution area (the "Killing Fields").

We took a one-day cookery class in Cambodian cooking, including a morning visit to the market.

Phnom Penh is a frenetic city, with huge numbers of mopeds dominating the streets and parked all over the pavements. Transport was mostly by tuk-tuk.
